Your school email, turned into a to-do list.

parentfeed.ai reads the school mail already in your inbox and tells you what actually needs you — deadlines, sign-ups, payments, permission slips — so nothing gets lost in a week of newsletters.

For parents at Tessellations School.

How it works

  1. 1
    Connect your Google account
You grant read-only access to the mail that's already in your inbox. Nothing happens until you do.
  2. 2
    We find what needs action
Deadlines, sign-up windows, payments, events, and messages about your child — pulled out of the emails they're buried in, including PDF newsletters.
  3. 3
    You get one short feed
Sorted by what's due first, with a link back to every original email. Mark things done and they stop coming back.

What it accesses, and why

Gmail — read only
Recent messages in the mailbox you sign in with, roughly the last 30 days. This is necessary because the deadlines and sign-ups only exist inside the emails themselves. The app never sends, deletes, or modifies mail, and no more limited scope exposes message content.
Google Drive — app folder only
A hidden folder that only this app can see, holding your household profile and your generated feed. It cannot read, list, or touch any other file in your Drive.
Basic profile
Your name and email address, used to identify your account.

Where your data lives

There is no parentfeed.ai database. Your profile and your feed are written to the hidden app folder in your own Google Drive — they live in your Google account, not on our servers. Message content is held only in memory for the seconds it takes to build your feed, and is not retained afterwards.

Email content is sent to Anthropic’s API to be summarised, and is not used to train models. Your data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with other parents or with the school.

You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately ends the app’s ability to read your mail. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

Worth knowing

The feed is generated by an AI model reading your email. It can misread a date or miss something. Treat it as a helpful summary, not the source of truth — every card links back to the original email, and that email is what counts.
